Museum Visit and Lunch with Students of McComb’s BBA Short-Term International Program

Report

The McComb’s BBA Short-Term International Program once again sent a class of Supply Chain Management (SCM) students to take a course in Hong Kong and experience the Chinese culture and business environment in Hong Kong and China during the summer. On June 18, we met the class to appreciate the art of Claude Monet at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in the morning and then have lunch in the afternoon together at Pearl Delight at the Shatin Town Plaza.

We have been very fortunate that whenever the class comes to Hong Kong we can either take them to watch some dragon boat races or, like this time, appreciate the art of some masters (last time was Pablo Picasso’s!). All of us enjoy the museum visit very much, especially when we were allowed to take pictures of Monet’s masterpieces. Then at lunch, a few more alumni joined the party and we had some nice chats with the students.

It has always been fun with the visiting students and we look forward to meeting the next class in 2017!

Invitation

The McComb’s BBA Short-Term International Program will once again send a class of Supply Chain Management (SCM) students to take a course in Hong Kong and experience the Chinese culture and business environment in Hong Kong and China during the summer.

Like last year, we have only one chance for the students and the alumni here to meet. We will first visit the Hong Kong Heritage Museum to appreciate the art of Claude Monet, and then have a dim sum lunch together.

Come and talk to the students! Learn from them what it is like to study at UT now!

Date: June 18 (Saturday)
Time and Place: 11:30am meeting at Shatin MTR Station Ticketing Area for Museum Visit; 2:30pm at Pearl Delight (http://www.openrice.com/en/hongkong/r-pearl-delight-sha-tin-guangdong-dim-sum-r162110) for lunch
Cost: The program will cover the cost of museum admission and lunch for alumni

You may join only either part (museum visit and lunch) of the event if you want, but we encourage you to join the whole event. In any case, sign up now to show your support and we’ll see you there!

May the ‘Horns be with y’all!
