Our Thanksgiving dinner took place at the Muse Cafe at Tsim Sha Tsui on November 24. We had about a dozen of attendees including some new faces and our co-founder Benjamin Chang who moved back to Hong Kong recently. The venue was a buffet restaurant. While the food was not best in its class, the environment was excellent and we had a good time. After the dinner, many of the participants went on to have drinks at the Sheraton Sky. The event finally ended at 1 am.
Invitation
Time flies and it is our annual Thanksgiving Dinner again! During the last 2 years we had almost 20 alumni and friends each time gathering together for very nice meals in an enjoyable atmosphere. We expect the same this year. What’s different this time is that we have a new venue.
Date: November 24 (Saturday)
Time: 6:30pm dinner starts, drinks in after-party follows dinner
Venue: Cafe Muse (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/sr2.htm?shopid=524) for dinner, after-party venue TBA
Food: Western style buffet
Damage for Dinner: $200 per person if sign up on or before November 17, $220 per person if sign up after November 18 or walk in
Damage for After-party: Buy your own drinks
The restaurant is very famous for its buffet dinner. It is not always easy to book a table there. Take this opportunity to meet our fellow Longhorns, know some new friends, and eat some good food.
If the environment allows, we will have some Longhorn merchandise for sale or auction during the dinner. Bring some extra money if you are interested.
