Dragon Boat Race Watching and Lunch with Current UT Business Students

Invitation

A group of students of the McCombs School of Business are coming to Hong Kong. Each summer the Center for International BusinessEducation and Research (CIBER) sends about 200 graduate and undergraduate business students abroad to take classes, go on company visits, become exposed to international business practices, etc. in Hong Kong, Paris, Prague, and Edinburgh. CIBER sends about 60 Accounting and Supply Chain Management majors to Hong Kong for study abroad. In Hong Kong, students take two business related courses and live at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) for approximately 5 weeks.

HKTX is organizing an event for these students to experience the culture of Hong Kong and to meet our alumni here. We will take thestudents to watch the dragon boat race in Shatin in the morning of the Tuen Ng Festival, and a lunch with our alumni will follow. We expect that many of the group of 30 students will join. Here are the details:

Date: June 6 (Monday, a Public Holiday)
Time: 9:30am for dragon boat race watching, 12:00nn for lunch
Place: Gathering point at Shatin MTR station ticket counters for dragon boat race watching, lunch venue to be decided
Cost: Share of lunch cost

It is a very good chance for us to meet the current students at UT and to reconnect with our alma mater. RSVP. This is an alumni only event. Alumni may bring guests to the event.
