Dragon Boat Race Watching and Lunch with UT BBA Students

Report

The class of the Summer Faculty-led Program was in Hong Kong in June again. And like the last few years we had the chance to meet the students in a cultural event. And because they were here during the Tuen Ng Festival, it makes sense to watch the timely festive event of dragon boat racing with them.

We went to the river side of Shing Mun River to watch the races. The event not only gave the student a chance to cheer for the dragon boat teams that they did not know at all, but also a chance to talk to the rowers who gathered around while waiting for their competition.

After an hour, we moved to Pearl Delight to have dim sum lunch. It is getting harder and harder to book a table each year and we ended up repeating the only available place. In any case, the food was excellent, and the students enjoyed the food very much.
